I went wheel skating the other week with some friends at an event run by the MDA of NZ and I had a total BLAST!!!

Once I was on the ice I was basically drifting, spinning and free wheeling across the ice, avoiding sliding into other people.  I would wheel around with all the other able-bodied people then drift into the corners, I was able to control the speed a bit too.

I was on the ice for about 3 hours with a break in between for a hot drink and to watch some ice hockey.  I'd love to try this in my old Arrow, it would be crazy haha

The ice rink is just down the road from me but I really need transport there and back as the wheel skating eats up your batt power!
