Hello, I purchased a used chair and put in new batteries for my disabled son. The monitor shows under drive 1 to drive 4 --
"mtr config error". The previous owner swears that it did work the last time it was used.
 Any help certainly appreciated.

Motor config error, by definition means the motors aren't configured correctly.  Meaning the controller isn't programmed correctly for your motors, or you have new motors and they haven't been calibrated yet.....

Solution:
step 1. turn off chair, make sure both motors are plugged in real good. make sure both motor release levers are set in "drive".  Turn chair back on.  If still giving error, go to step 2.

step 2. You need to plug in a programmer and go to "calibrations"  the go to drive config, make sure it is set to "GB".  If it is not, change to GB.  hit "save" twice on programmer. If it was set to GB, go to step 3.

step 3.  Put chair on blocks (have both the rear wheels suspended in the air) plug in programmer and go to calibrate motors and run calibrate motors. (the chairs rear wheels will start to go forward then back) this will take about 2-3 minutes.  when complete you have to hit "save" twice on the programmer.
